Process supervision primitives shared by the llama-server supervisor, the command sandbox and the training runner: process groups that die with their owner (Linux session + killpg, Windows Job Object with KILL_ON_JOB_CLOSE), detached daemons, liveness probes, elevated execution without a new console window (Sudo for Windows inline, UAC, sudo-rs), free-port allocation, advisory file locks and the single-GPU lease (shared for inference, exclusive for training).
